# LAYERK Global Pool The goal of LAYERK is to establish a distributed and decentralized infrastructure that supports the entire LAYERK ecosystem, accommodating all DApps and applications utilizing LAYERK's services. To foster expansion, validator pools have been instituted. Nodes that become operational first in each country are prioritized based on speed, entitling them to rewards. Once a node is active and maintains the required staked tokens, it earns a portion of the inflation and fee rewards allocated for each active node. Specifically, 5% of the total inflation is reserved for the first 50,000 nodes globally.
